This past weekend we were invited to a 2nd birthday party. My good friend was having a party for her daughter Skye. One of the creative activities for the children was finger painting. Well my girlfriend came up with the clever idea to take vanilla pudding and add food coloring to create finger paint. Paper was posted on the walls and various colors of paints were created. The Children had a good time painting up there work of art, and when complete if they like they could even lick there fingers! Yesterday I had the pleasure of volunteering my services and talents to Starr Studded Events Owner & Staff to assist in birthday parties for the children of Our House Daycare facility . Our House is a childcare and support center for homeless families. Brandi Starr ( owner of Starr Studded Wedding & Events ) had decided instead of having a big birthday bash for herself and decided to donate her time and talents and give the children of Our House a birthday party for all those children celebrating birthdays in November. Starr Studded events set up 5 classrooms (approximately 50 - 60 children) for Birthday Celebration with Wonder Pets theme and Sesame Street place settings . The children were so excited about the party. What a great and wonderful way to give back and put a smile on each of the children faces. The staff, parents and children were very pleased with the celebration that took place. I was so glad to contribute my time and talent to such a great cause. Thanks Bran

It's a celebration of Life Happy Birthday Dad! A time of reflection of time of rememberance It's hard to believe its been 2 years since I hosted my celebration of Life. It was a celebration of my new life that was on its way December 2007. I summons all my friends and family to my celebration. I didn't want a "babyshower" type of thing, but a celebration to bring my family & friends together for a good time. Here is a simple cost effective DYI pumpkin costume Farmer of the Pumpkin Patch & A pumpkin (that's me wearing the dyi pumpkin costume) Materials needed: 1 Plastic Pumpkin leaf bag 1 spool of ribbon(black or orange) measuring tape scissors Take out the Pumpkin Bag measure distant across and cut out arm holes measure distance down to cut holes for legs make sure the cuts are (big enough for arms &legs to fit in) measure about 6-8inches down from the top to the bag take and cut slits 1 inch apart you want to weave ribbon in & out around the neck of the bag At this point , the costume is complete. Nasim's 9Th Birthday Celebration This year my son turned the Big 9 years of age for his birthday celebration we wanted to do something a little different and age appropriate. Since he is turning 9 , he is over the "kiddie" type parties, so I had to come up with something that would be fun and creative and he and his friends would truly enjoy, So I came up with a Video Game Party! What could be more fun then nine year old friends and Adults enjoying some of our favorite games! First thing First we had to do is take a pictureto come up with a cool invitations Customized Sign acknowledging the birthday boy! we covered the windows to keep the atmosphere dark to give the arcade feeling at the house. Added some upside down balloons to indicate this is a "party" We added an inflatable big screen and put the game system to the projector to Create "BIG FUN" additional TVs & game systems were added along the wall to give various choices of games to be played
