For my 35th Birthday Party I decided to host myself a 70's theme party! There was so much to celebrate during that time I was turning 35 and we were days from the inauguration of President Barack Obama! It was most definitely a time to party! I started off with an inspiration from a photoshoot I had did a while back... The invites were nice and colorful to set the tone of the party To cut down on lots of expenses I Hosted the party at my house and I created lots of elements to bring the 70's feel & party scene. I made cutouts of popular 70's shows and popular drinks and hung them around. I purchase the scene setter from Party city and hung it around the room. I had a disco ball in my party stash and I borrowed some lava lamps from my niece. DJ I POD was really had the party going with my 70's music play list I created. My son is a big fan of the WWE! We decided to have him a WWE Pool Party theme party for his birthday... We working Fast because his birthday is in just a few weeks... Here's our invitation we created... We selected 10 pictures from over 10 years of his life.... He's turning 10! What a milestone!

A couple weekends ago I had the pleasure of styling a good friend of mine baby shower. My friend loves the color purple and with that in mind, I thought it would be great to have her a Purple Rain Baby shower. We decided since she was having a boy we need to go with a dark or royal purple , white and splash of silver. Since I am a Do- it yourself er, that is exactly what I did. From customized games to the enlarge images to the party favors I put my creativity to work. Inspired by so many great planners and great blogs I follow, Ideas became a bit overwhelming. I become so inspired by others. We started by having a maternity photo shoot . Once that was complete we could use the images as part of the shower decor. Happy Birthday Jasmine! My recent project I have been working is for Jasmine who is celebrating 25 years old and has decided to have an eighties style party. We created a logo to set the theme of the party. The colors for the party Electric blue, hot pink , light green & yellow. Nasim's 9Th Birthday Celebration This year my son turned the Big 9 years of age for his birthday celebration we wanted to do something a little different and age appropriate. Since he is turning 9 , he is over the "kiddie" type parties, so I had to come up with something that would be fun and creative and he and his friends would truly enjoy, So I came up with a Video Game Party! What could be more fun then nine year old friends and Adults enjoying some of our favorite games! First thing First we had to do is take a pictureto come up with a cool invitations Customized Sign acknowledging the birthday boy! we covered the windows to keep the atmosphere dark to give the arcade feeling at the house. Added some upside down balloons to indicate this is a "party" We added an inflatable big screen and put the game system to the projector to Create "BIG FUN" additional TVs & game systems were added along the wall to give various choices of games to be played...
