It's the last day of October and I would like to celebrate a breast cancer survivor story. One of my closest and dearest sister was diagnosed with breast cancer last year April 2009. We were so shocked when we got the news, but I knew in my heart of hearts that we were going to beat this thing, with all we had. During the journey we not only found out she had cancer in one breast , but she had it in both breast and there were two different types of cancer. Well after wonderful treatment of her Doctors a double mastectomy lots of prayers and being granted grace and mercy from the Lord above by October 2009 my sister was cancer free! I'm very thankful for the strength that she had to endure during this process and all the different obstacles we faced going in this thing.... Tossing up my pink ribbon of pride for all the survivors and those who lost their battle. We will keeping fighting until we find a cure God Bless ~! Elisha ~
