Flash Back Friday { 40/40 Birthday Party}

Last year I worked with a close buddy of mine, she had wanted to surprise her husband with a 40th birthday celebration. After talking her into it , we decided to do it! The Theme was 40/40 taken inspiration from rap Mogul Jay-z 40/40 restaurant/ lounge and being in line with his famous lyrics from the song . 30 something song (30 the new 20 and so forth and so on) Invitations were inspired by the rap moguls Reasonable doubt album cover, so we created our own version using custom images from a photo session of the couple!

Large images were used as decor on the mirrors to provide a custom feel to the party

diamond shaped cake with a cigar placed on top was custom made by Bliss Bakery

Aj's Catering provided a wonderful layout and delicious food for all the guest

DJ Six 5 had the floor crowded at all times

Custom photo booth was set up for picture taking of all the guest at the party.

Signage and props at the booth were a big hit!

Glass cylinder centerpieces were created and place on all the tables throughout

the venue with tea lights giving it a very grown and sexy appeal. Custom labeled items such as candy bar and pop corn was given to the guest for parting favors.

Guest of honor was so surprised that he wife had went totally out of the way for his 40th and was so thankful for all the work and dedication of all the vendors who participated in this event..
