These words are the motivation behind rising entrepreneur Nyasia Bowen. Indeed, when you see your vision for the event of your dreams come to fruition; it’s guaranteed to exceed your imagination. The New York City native founded Eventista Productions in 2008 and is a full service event planning and consulting firm with services ranging from elegant weddings, church anniversaries, and corporate functions to retreats. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur she developed her resume as Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Special Events Coordinator for prestigious entities like Cisco Systems, Equifax and the American Heart Association. She skillfully employs technology and social media to plan, promote and execute her business model leaving her time to be a model wife, mother and businesswoman.

Finding Eve Soul Cafe billed as “Entertainment 4 Your Soul” and with the motto “Live Life. Love God. No Compromise”, has embodied her truest passion- her desire to create a venue where Christians can have an intimate, spirit-filled experience and geared towards offering Christians a wholesome alternative to conventional nightlife entertainment. Finding Eve was originally a gathering for Christian singles that began with speed dating complimented by a talent showcase, Spoken Word, spectacular singers, Truth Music, great bands and musicians take stage and pour out their hearts in praise and worship. The talent recruited truly makes Finding Eve Soul Café a worship experience!

The event has taken a life of its own and added a breath of life to all who attend.

"I had a dream to combine fun with faith, and prove the two can coexist," said Mrs. Bowen, “For years there has been a void of quality, consistent faith-based entertainment options. After our inaugural event, seeing the outpouring of support from the community has validated our existence and our mission.” "Our philosophy is simple: one can be saved, Love God, and live a fun, fulfilled life without compromising one’s faith,” Bowen noted. “We really do provide entertainment for your soul!”

If past accomplishments and current success are any indication- the future is bright for Mrs. Bowen and she believes that with God all things are possible. Her current project entitled “The Planning DIVA” which is a Do It Yourself event-consulting firm, teaches aspiring event planners the art and business of Event Planning. In her words, “Event planning isn’t exclusively taught in the traditional sense of a classroom, it is taught through experience and the experience I have acquired over the years I want to share in an effort to help make someone’s job a bit easier”!
