Kara Norman a Georgia native and 'Grady Baby'. She is happily married to her husband of 14 years and has two daughters ages 13 and 8. Anyone that knows Kara would say that empowerment should be her middle name! Kara's strong desire to empower the lives of girls and women started mostly as a young girl when she struggled with self-esteem. After quitting college due to a lack of confidence, Kara got married and started a family with her husband. After her two daughters were born, Kara went back to earn her bachelor's of science degree in psychology and graduated summa cum laude. During her studies, she chose to focus on women's issues. A seed was planted that not only fed her growing confidence, but eventually grew into her devotion to helping girls and women face today's myriad of challenges. All of these experiences have fueled Kara's passion to empower the lives of women and girls! By day she is a physician recruiter and is in the process of launching her newest venture, Empower Her, Inc. that will focus on providing empowerment parties/events for women and girls. She also co-founded and serves as the Director of Programs for the Atlanta based mentoring group, G.E.M.S. & Jewels Empowerment Group for Girls. Kara enjoys photography, event planning, date nights with her hubby, dancing and spending time with her family.
